First things first, I'm a woman. Well, girl, according to my mother. I think the word 'woman' scares her a little bit. I don't know why I felt that that was the most important thing to say, but it just was. I've also got this hair, this crazy, out of control, strawberry blond hair (a smidgen more strawberry than blond) that can only be tamed in the winter or by way of extreme heat. My hair is kind of my trademark, mostly because it's so large it's the first thing you notice. I also, back in my wild child phase of freshman year, thought it would be a good idea to put a 2 inch think hot pink streak into the bottom of my hair. Don't get me wrong, I love my pink strip, but sometimes I wonder if it was the right thing to do. I keep re-dying it because, well, it's kind of like that toy, that toy that was your whole world back when your parents still spelt out words they didn't want you to hear. And now, while cleaning out your ridiculously cluttered attic, you just can't bring yourself to throw it away because it just meant so much to you. That's why I keep re-dying it. If that makes any sense.
I'm also into fashion. I don't have dreams of becoming a world famous designer or anything, I just enjoy experimenting with different looks and maybe even leaving my comfort zone a little bit. I think it's just so much fun to get different reactions to something you're wearing and maybe even getting some looks. It's just you being you! Along with fashion comes photography. I'm not sure if I'm the only one who connects the two, but they just go together in my mind. I'm not by any means a professional photographer, but I do like to think that I am above your average camera-phone user. I like to take pictures of things that will remind me of happy times. Some of my latest photos include the beach, my smiling baby cousin and the sunrise from the balcony of a condo, all happy memories.
I think I covered some of the main things. Who knows, maybe I'll do one of these 'about me' posts another time. Well goodnight, Ciao, adios, hasta la vista, all of those things.
Bye for now!
